The Clean Tech Innovation Programme focuses on how digital solutions can enhance environmental and sustainability outcomes, and is aimed at any business with a product or service that reduces negative environmental impacts through significant energy efficiency improvements, the sustainable use of resources or environmental protection activities.

Example

You may be a heat pump installer looking to utilise digital tools to grow your client base or a parts refurbishing company looking at AI solutions to reduce your carbon emissions.  The digital revolution has the potential to transform your business, and this course is an ideal way to help realise these opportunities.

Course Details

The Opportunity of Digital

Focussed on strategic thinking, this session will help businesses understand the role of digital transformation in developing eco-friendly products and services that protect our environment. It will include an introduction to digital transformation, the digital trends related to sustainability and understanding digital maturity.

Activities will include:

  • a digital maturity self-assessment
  • case study analysis (on successful green tech initiatives)
  • group discussions on identifying digital opportunities

Ideating Solutions to Enable Value Creation

This practical session provides a step-by-step process to build user centric solutions, as well as the tools and techniques to generate and evaluate ideas. In addition, it will also provide tools to quickly test new concepts and encourage rapid prototyping. 

Activities will include:

  • a design thinking and customer discovery exercise
  • a rapid ideation session
  • a session on MVP Development

Building the Business Case for Innovation

This session will provide businesses with the tools to develop robust investment cases for implementing innovations. This will include how to understand business models and how to accelerate the implementation of innovations through partnership and collaboration.

Activities will include:

  • validating the value proposition
  • building the business model
  • identifying growth opportunities in your ecosystem
