Glasgow Hootenanny is a traditional Scottish pub on St Enoch Square, serving pub food, drinks and live entertainment on Friday’s and Saturday’s. Hootenanny has a roster of resident local talent who play all the songs you want to sing along to when you let your hair down at the weekend.

Avant Garde

If you’re looking for something a bit different from your live music venue, then this is the place for you!

Avant Garde offers a unique programme of entertainment every weekend, with their jazz and swing nights followed by their famous ceilidh every Saturday. While they do offer more traditional rock bands, they’re better known for their blues and big band nights that offer something different within Glasgow’s live music scene and make them worth the visit!

Soulsa are an independent family-run business that pride themselves on being the ‘funkiest bar in Glasgow’. Serving homemade food, exciting cocktails, and amazing live music with a soulful twist. They offer DJ sets, live music and a Thursday open-mic night for any up-and-coming musician who wants to practice their trade.

Open until 12am Wednesday – Sunday, their music nights offer a party atmosphere whenever you fancy a dance.

Open Tuesday -Sunday until 12am, this is a great place to meet for a drink and listen to some great live singers.

Maggie May’s is a great pub and restaurant on Trongate in the Merchant City. Known for their live music and late DJ sets on the weekend, they offer a varied programme of entertainment.
