Glasgow City Innovation District Venture Studio has partnered with College Local Innovation Centres (CLIC) to offer two, three-week intensive training programmes as part of the Innovate Pillar. The first aimed at organisations working to deliver services or products with a social value impact (private or third sector), and the second aimed at Clean Tech companies working on products or services that reduce environmental impact.
The programmes aim to help businesses realise how digital solutions can drive positive outcomes, and each course will cover the key tools and techniques needed to define a problem, ideate a solution and most importantly, build a business case for implementation. Both programmes will be delivered in person, one full day a week over three weeks, at the Centre for Innovation Leadership on the City of Glasgow College City Campus.
Participants within the Glasgow City Boundary will also have exclusive access to apply for grant funding through the GCID Venture Studio. Grants of up to £8000 will be available to enable organisations to utilise digital solutions to address real-world challenges and support organisations to deliver an innovation project developed during the taught sessions.
This programme is aimed at any private or third-sector business working to improve the well-being of individuals and communities.
This programme is for any business with a product or service that aims to reduce the negative environmental impact through significant energy efficiency improvements, the sustainable use of resources or environmental protection activities.
