In total, 40 giant Scottie sculptures have been installed across Glasgow, alongside 52 smaller “wee” Scotties designed by local schools, nurseries and community groups.
Organised by Wild in Art in support of Maggie’s, the trail aims to raise awareness and vital funds for the charity’s work supporting people with cancer and their families.
Here in the District, we’re proud to be home to 12 of the sculptures, each uniquely designed by a different artist and sponsored by local organisations. From bold, colourful designs to intricate illustrative detail, every Scottie tells its own story.
The trail runs until 16 August, giving you plenty of time to explore the District and beyond. You can also download the official trail app to collect sculptures as you go and unlock special offers along the way.
We set out on our own Scottie adventure around the District to track down every sculpture, have a scroll through and see if you can pick a favourite.
