This year’s Fusion Fest is a half-day crossover event on Thursday 10th September connecting the creative and tech sectors across Glasgow through a dynamic programme of ideas, experimentation, collaboration and performance.
Delivered by the District in partnership with Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, The Glasgow School of Art and the University of Strathclyde, Fusion Fest brings together artists, designers, technologists, entrepreneurs, researchers, students and industry leaders to explore the growing intersection between creativity and innovation.
Through talks, performances, installations and live demonstrations, Fusion Fest will showcase the people, projects and ideas redefining the relationship between the creative and tech communities - from AI and immersive storytelling to digital design, gaming, music, performance and creative entrepreneurship.
Fusion Fest is designed to inspire new partnerships, spark conversation and open up fresh possibilities for how creative thinking and technological innovation can work together to shape industries, communities and culture.

For 2026, Fusion Fest will be held in the heart of the District at The Briggait, 141 Bridgegate, Glasgow G1 5HZ.
Wasps, Scotland’s national provider of creative spaces, opened the Briggait as a cultural hub in 2009, following its closure as the city’s fish market in the 1970s.
The main event will be held in the newly refurbished Clydeside Halls which encompasses the largest complex of Victorian-era halls in Scotland – a fitting location to bring together Glasgow’s creative and tech communities.
