Glasgow City Innovation District is supporting businesses within Glasgow through six principles. These principles outline the many ways we assist and work with businesses and individuals to promote Glasgow as a growing innovative space in the UK and beyond.

Glasgow City Innovation District is proud to be a member of two international and one UK association. This allows the District to be part of a network of national and international districts.
Over the past six years, Glasgow City Innovation District has seen significant growth in attracting inward investment, development of the city's innovation ecosystem and scaling company formation. Glasgow City Innovation District is home to an incredible range of innovative organisations across a number of sectors. In addition to this, the District is also home to the UK's only Fraunhofer Institute, five UK Catapults and four Scottish Innovation Centres.
